The panoramic view from this point is truly unique, as the Alhambra is seen from another angle, providing a spectacular perspective.

Viewpoint of the Vereda de Enmedio

According to legend and tradition, the unmarried girl who rings the highest bell of the Torre de la Vela, that same year, will find a husband and they will get married.
So now you know, if you are single, you are in Granada on the 2nd of January and you would like to find the love of your life, fight to be the first to ring the bell.

La Lona viewpoint

This viewpoint offers one of the most complete views of the Albaicín and the Alhambra. It is a perfect place to rest while you explore the historic Albaicín quarter and enjoy 360 degree views of the city.

Cueva de las Ventanas Viewpoint

This viewpoint is a little further away from the city, in the hills near the Alhambra. It is located in the town of Píñar, in the foothills of the Sierra Arana, in the region of Los Montes.
It is located in the intermediate gorges of a limestone hill modelled by karstic processes. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city and the majestic Sierra Nevada, especially if you visit during the early hours of the morning.

Mario Maya Viewpoint

This is close to the Cueva de la Rocío theatre and the research institute Escuela de Estudios Árabes. It is not as well known as the previous ones, but it is undoubtedly one of the quietest and least frequented.
In Granada it is better known as the Vereda de En Medio viewpoint, because it is located in the middle of this street in the heart of Sacromonte, very close to the caves of this neighbourhood.
These are just some of the viewpoints in the city, but there are more to enjoy.
If you decide to visit them and spend a day enjoying Granada, its landscapes, streets, people and gastronomy, you can do so and get to know most of these viewpoints with a pleasant and effortless ride on an electric bicycle. Take advantage of this option to discover the beauty and charm of Granada.

The Martyrs’ Viewpoint

The Carmen de los Mártires is on the southern slope of the hill of the Mauror, within the Alhambra enclosure, in the grounds known until the 14th century by the Arabs as the Campo de Ahabul and by the Christians as the Campo or corral de los Cautivos (Field of the Captives).
With its more than seven hectares, it is the largest of the city’s Cármenes, which includes a magnificent palace, romantic gardens and Nasrid orchards overlooking the city of Granada.
