Hi, I’m Nick H., your ebike guide. A lover of two wheels since I was a child. I have always used the bicycle as a means of transportation, I have also been a biker in the city and I have practiced enduro. As a guide I have worked leading groups of cyclists on the Camino de Santiago. I am also the CEO of Ebikes ForTwo, so you will be in contact with the person in charge at all times to obtain the best service.
I am from Madrid although I have been living in Andalusia for almost 10 years. Some time ago I lived in Germany and Ireland, speaking with many people from all over so you will find my accent a little strange, a mix of many influences. As a professional I am a computer scientist and photographer, although what I really love is nature, people and the world of cycling. I am certified as a bicycle route guide, first aid instructor, and Civil Protection map-orientation instructor.

Definitely not. I am not a professional tourist guide nor do I know the history of the city in depth, Im just a ROUTE GUIDE. If that is your need, I recommend that you look for another type of service like Miriam Tourist Guide. I will guide you through the NON-pedestrian streets and paths until you reach your points of interest. Our route is a trip from an almost bird’s eye view. For example, I can take you to the cathedral, any church, any viewpoint, any museum or building of interest to you, but once there you can visit it as you wish, take a simple tour, take some photos, or listen to an audio guide for a few minutes. I adapt to you but I cannot provide you with valuable tourist information. I will only present each stopping point to you.

The total duration of the route will depend on the prior planning we carry out. How much time do you have? Will you want to make many stops to take photos or videos? Do you want to visit a museum, church, etc.?

We will only have one limitation, the battery capacity. We have to plan a route so that at no time does anyone run out of battery. Our ebikes can travel up to 80 km on a gently sloping route, but Granada is full of hills so we normally do a maximum of 40-50 km. In conclusion, the total duration of your route will depend on the use of the battery and the stops we make. We can be talking about routes that take between 2 to 3 hours.

Due to the difficulty of the most characteristic routes, allowing you to enjoy the best views of Granada, we must take an introductory period with some lessons beforehand until the instructor can prepare a route appropriate for your riding level. Your experience may need to be divided into two parts: the first day of learning and a short route, and the second day of riding a route with a complexity adapted to your level.
Ebikes Fortwo wants you to have the best experience in Granada instead of an accident or hospitalization. Granada has a complicated terrain with roads shared by many vehicles and people, so to navigate safely, we must be adequately prepared. But don’t worry, if you already know how to ride a bike, the adaptation process can take only a few hours or minutes, depending on your skill and experience.

Yes of course. We can adjust both the handlebars and the saddle.

We will look for the best time of day when it is not raining and the ground is dry. If it is not possible, we will refund the money paid because riding in Granada with wet ground is very dangerous and for EBikes ForTwo, your safety comes first.

The use of a mobile phone or any other device while driving is strictly prohibited in Spain to avoid any mishap. Only your guide can use it to find any incident via GPS on the route. In any case, several stops will be made at key points so that you can use the device.

The correct cycling gear is lightweight yet protective clothing, although in the world of e-bike routes, we won’t sweat much; aerodynamics aren’t too important, so we can bend the rule a bit. In any case, we’ll need to protect ourselves from the southern Spanish sun and in case of a fall, so we’ll try to wear clothing that covers our entire body, the thicker the better.

Of course, flip-flops are not allowed. Footwear that covers our entire feet is essential. Sunglasses are also important, or, if it’s cloudy, insect protection goggles. Don’t worry, I’ll provide these for you. If you can add gloves, even better.

For hygiene reasons we do not reuse bottles, so we recommend that you carry your own drink in a backpack.

For us, the most important thing is your health and well-being, so we will do everything possible to avoid any accident, but as any outdoor activity is not 100% safe, any mishap can occur. In that case we will consider whether we return to the hotel or request a transfer to a hospital. All health care expenses are covered in Spain but we cannot reimburse the cost of the route.

If the incident occurs within the first hour of the route:

In the unexpected event that one of our ebikes breaks down and is out of service within the first hour of the route:, Bikes ForTwo will offer customers another date to enjoy the unused ride time. If it cannot be done, Bikes ForTwo will consider a refund of part or all of the amount.

If the incident occurs after the first hour of the route:

Bikes ForTwo will refund 30% of the amount paid and the route will be terminated.

First we plan the route together. Once you agree with that plan and the proposed price, you must pay 50% of the amount, the rest will be paid just before starting the route. You can make payment by paypal, bizum or in cash.

We recommend contacting us at least two days before the start of the route.

To formalize the reservation you must send us a photo of a valid identification document or passport. We send you a document with all the conditions that both participants must sign.

The best way is via email although you can also communicate with us by Whatsapp.

It is important that everything is predefined in writing to avoid misunderstandings.

Yes and No. With us you rent the ebike for a certain period of time but a fully comprehensive insurance and an accompanying monitor-guide are mandatory. 

Can we cancel a route? Of course yes, but you must do it at least 24 hours before the agreed start time. If you do it later, we will charge the deposit given for route planning and day reservation.
